Cameron Finnie
Financial Adviser
What I do: I help clients plan for the future by providing clear, practical advice across pensions, investments, and wider financial planning. My role is to bring structure and clarity to what can often feel complex, ensuring clients understand their options and feel comfortable with the decisions they’re making, both now and over the long term.
Brief background: I have been at Border Finance since 2017, starting as a paraplanner before progressing into a financial adviser role. This background gives me a strong technical foundation and a structured, considered approach to advice.
Favourite part of my job: Building long-term relationships with clients, whether they have been with the firm for many years and are transitioning from a previous adviser, or are new clients I am meeting for the first time. I enjoy helping people make sense of their finances and providing clarity and reassurance as they face important decisions, whether that’s planning ahead, adapting to change, or navigating something new such as retirement.
Outside work: I enjoy holidays and meals out with my partner and friends. Day to day, I like going to the gym, running, and taking part in fitness events, which helps me keep a healthy and active lifestyle.
