Chartered Financial Planner

What I do: I work closely with individuals and families to help them plan for their financial future. This includes retirement planning, investment advice, and holistic financial reviews designed to help clients make confident decisions and work towards their long-term goals.

Brief Background: I hold an International Business & Finance Honours degree after studying in Glasgow and Boston. I began my career in financial services in the Central Belt before returning home to Dumfries in 2020 to join Border Finance. Alongside my role, I have continued to develop my professional qualifications and am proud to now hold Chartered Financial Planner status, one of the highest recognitions in the financial planning profession.

Favourite part of my job: Getting to know clients and understanding what truly matters to them. I particularly enjoy building and presenting cashflow models, helping clients visualise their financial future and giving them clarity and confidence about the decisions they make today.

Outside Work: I enjoy travelling, especially when it involves a bit of sunshine. I also enjoy trying new restaurants and staying active by keeping on top of my fitness and training goals.
