What I do: I work alongside my colleagues and other professionals, providing appropriate financial solutions and long-term planning to meet my client’s needs throughout their lifetime.

Brief Background: Born and educated in Dumfries, I have over 30 years industry experience with the vast majority of my career spent with 2 major High Street Banks throughout Scotland and the North of England. Prior to joining Border Finance I spent 8 years as an IFA with a major Accountancy Practice, advising Personal and Business Owners in all aspects of Financial Planning including Trust and Taxation Planning. Married to Alison, with grown up children.

Favourite part of my Job: Taking the time to Listening and understanding what my clients objectives are, then to advise appropriately and holding regulars meetings to ensure their needs are continually being met and make changes when required.

Outside Work: With my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, hill walking with Buddy the family dog and trying to improve my golf handicap.
